Draft — not yet reviewed by an attorney

This page is a starting-point draft, not final legal advice. Have a licensed attorney review it — particularly around student-data handling (FERPA) and children's privacy (COPPA), which apply to parts of PSG's work with K-12 districts — before relying on it as your published policy.

Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Performance Standards Group (“PSG,” “we,” “us”) handles information in connection with the psgintelligence.com marketing website. It does not cover the separate, password-protected PSG Intelligence system used by partner districts and schools — that system involves survey and program data governed by our engagement agreement with each partner organization, and, where applicable, by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and other applicable student-data laws. If you are a partner district with questions about that system, contact us directly.

Information we collect

The marketing website collects information only when you choose to provide it, primarily through the consultation request form at /contact. That form collects:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your district or school (organization)
  • Your role or title, if provided
  • Any message you choose to include

We do not currently use analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies on this website. If that changes, this policy will be updated to describe what's added and why.

How we use information

Information submitted through the consultation form is used solely to respond to your inquiry and, if a working relationship begins, to communicate about that engagement. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Service providers

This website is hosted on Netlify, and consultation form submissions are processed and stored using Netlify Forms. Netlify acts as a data processor on our behalf and has its own privacy and security practices, available at netlify.com.

Children's privacy

This marketing website is directed at school and district leadership — superintendents, athletic directors, principals, and similar administrators — and is not intended for use by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website. Separately, PSG's work with partner districts may involve survey data collected from students under agreements with those districts; that data collection is governed by the applicable district agreement and by COPPA and FERPA where those laws apply, not by this website policy.

Data retention

We retain consultation form submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and maintain a record of prospective and current client relationships. You may request deletion of your information at any time using the contact details below.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you've submitted to us by emailing josh@pstandardsgroup.org. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR); this section should be expanded with counsel if PSG regularly serves residents of those jurisdictions.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
